" Across the years we will walk with Deborah Kerr in deep green forests, on shores of sand, and when our time on earth is through - in heaven - too, she will have our hands. "

" COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS "

Maurice Chevalier
Rossano Brazzi

Unworkable comedy of manners about an English girs, played by Deborah, who marries a wealthy Frenchman, played by Rossano, during World War II. The conflict separates them, and when they are united, their nine-year-old son learns his father is a philanderer. The plot limps along with occasional levity by the commentary of Maurice Chevalier. His charm, however, is only a slight blessing. Also with Mona Washbourne, Martin Stephens, Ronald Squire, and Tom Helmore.
